Hey that's Alice's, it's just south of San Francisco. Been there many times with my Healey, best twisty roads around the Santa Cruz mountains. I always get the Kobe burger.

BTW my JH is

Chassis code is 10777

Engine code reads B74 12 10 822

It's a 73 with a 74 engine.

Red JH
Vin # 14162
Engine # B73104280
DOM 10/27/73
Charleston, SC
I bought the car on EBay and they didn't mention it had been submerged. I am in the process of a full restoration right now.

noomg,

Yes, it was Jamestown. I still have an original license plate frame on the JH. (I little hard to see in the pic below. I will take a better pic soon.)

Thanks.

Looks like you have the original license plate as well. That's pretty cool that the car stayed in the family since new. Near as I can tell I'm the third owner of 19661.

Oops, should have replied to post in this thread instead of making a new one...
VIN #20158, not sure on engine # but it is reportedly the original one.
Car is running and in pretty good shape overall.  30,000 miles.  Color orange with tan interior.  Bought it in Iowa and am in process of shipping it to Anchorage, Alaska.

VIN 12383 now resides in Wilmington, NC. The engine number is B73032066 and I think it is the original. It is red with black interior and a replacement tan top. It runs well and is in about B+ condition. I bought it from someone in Greenville, NC and he told me the car came from Texas.
