Many have had their dash cracked from exposure to the sun. One place I have heard wants quite a bit of money for the repair(the "sticky" point is the curved fit around the "eyeballs" that supply air.) Bruce, Thanks for the videos they just might come in handy. It never occurred to me to use bondo, it's a great idea especially if the dash has to be reshaped. The place you're talking about is "Just Dashes" they're supposedly outrageously expensive and probably do the same thing.

There is a flexible auto body filler used for plastic bumper caps and the like that would probably be better than BondoTM. My problem was that the existing vinyl was so brittle that even the slightest pressure on it would cause cracking and flaking. Vance, If the the dash was so brittle you couldn't repair it with bondo or foam what method did Just Dashes use to repair it?

I felt the new skin was of very decent quality, but given the fact that no new foam was used, I felt $2,500 was over the top for pricing. It took them 7 months to do the job, and I had to pay in advance. The job did not get done until I figured I was never going to get my dash back and I asked for a refund and my dash to be returned.
