If the the dash was so brittle you couldn't repair it with bondo or foam what method did Just Dashes use to repair it?
Just dashes peels off the vinyl, and uses a vacuum oven to mold a new vinyl skin onto the dash. If the foam underneath the original vinyl is in bad shape, they will strip the dash back to the metal frame, mold new foam, then reskin in the vacuum over. In effect you get a brand new dash.
I felt the new skin was of very decent quality, but given the fact that no new foam was used, I felt $2,500 was over the top for pricing. It took them 7 months to do the job, and I had to pay in advance. The job did not get done until I figured I was never going to get my dash back and I asked for a refund and my dash to be returned. Not a happy experience.
