Vance, Interesting idea with the exhaust cam. Did you have it made custom or reworked the original exhaust cam? I have the Delta exhaust system and headers on one of my cars. Purchased long time ago. It was easy to install on the car, has a nice sound. Loudness is a personal thing. Some would say the sound is loud, others have said it's sounds great. If you haven't talked with Mike yet, I'll see him tomorrow, Tuesday, and will ask about the availability of the exhaust system. I'll need one also for the other JH restoration project I'm currently doing. Art

Vance, The problem with the lighter is a small nylon washer/insulator after decades it gets brittle and falls apart creating that destructive short. It's an easy replacement if you want to keep the lighter in service but as an added measure I put an in line fuse between the lighter and the rest of the harness. Regarding the exhaust system you will get it all Freddie, it's one of the nicest aftermarket systems I've installed. As far as sound and volume keep in mind it's been awhile since I installed it and I'm comparing it with an original system that was shot. It's not louder than stock and provides an ear pleasing burble.

?Fuse for cigarette lighter? This is already fused by the bottom fuse which has the purple wires("always HOT, but fused) coming out of it. This fuse is supposed to, and has for MANY others, blown when a short happens at the lighter. If someone has rewired or incorrectly wired the cigarette lighter, then yes, a fuse inline for it is necessary, as the cigarette lighter was the most common cause for the bottom fuse to blow.

Vance, When I bought my 75JH 20152 it had a S&S 4-1 header. I had the header sent out for Jet coating. Added a single exhaust system. Nice fitting system and engine exhaust sounds great. There is noise, a little louder than stock but a nice rumble. I like the sound. One person not familiar with lotus engine (or any other European sports car) thought it had a V8 sound. Keep up the good work. It takes someone who cares and do their own work on a JH. Chuck
