my Jensen Healey worth? In general, a running, functional Jensen Healey or Jensen GT in California goes from $4,000 to as high as $25,000 for exceptional, high quality restorations. Very nice, unmolested, stock, low mileage examples will tend to be in the $5,000 - $8,000 range. Non-runners go from $0 to about $1,000. High-end examples may have Lotus 907 engine performance modifications, (2.2 liter stroker crankshafts, high compression pistons, performance cams, 45mm Dellortos) paint and interior upgrades (custom wood, custom leather, etc.) besides being in show or near show condition. Real show condition Jensen Healey are not common. In general, deduct for other, non-Lotus engine conversions. The car's value for upgrades will weigh heavily on the tastefulness of the upgrades. Again, deduct considerably for badly modified examples (i.e.: aluminum dashboards, extensive use of non-English components or Ferrari badges/tail lights on the back).

For Sale 1974 MARK II Jensen-Healey. Has the stainless steel bumpers, blue exterior with black int., it has a Lotus 907 DOHC, 16 valve engine with 68,000 original miles on it. It needs work so I'm thinking it is a good candidate for a full restore job but a partial would bring it to a pretty good, presentable roadster. I have owned this car for 28 years. The car is complete, all parts are there. It has been stored garaged or with a car cover most of the time. I have not started it for awhile but it ran good last time I did. The engine turns over. It needs some floor pan rust repair, but rockers are fine. It needs minor body work. I have the replacement headlight casing that was wrecked. It also needs interior work, seats and carpet and a top. The gas tank will have to be replaced or repaired. It has the original wheels. This auto is for someone who is looking to restore and preserve a cool classic roadster with true intrinsic value. For Sale Jensen Healey parts. Many Healey parts, I’m a former Al Scrivener mechanic (same place Richie at West Coast heads learned about Healeys). I have a small store room with various Healey parts, and I need to move them out. There are: 1 front and 1 rear rubber bumper, 3 doors (2 left 1 right), 2 right fenders (what is it with Healey owners and left fenders?), 1 or 2 blocks, several 2.0 cranks, what has been described as a “racing” Weber/Del inlet manifold (not recommended for amateurs), various new and used parts for - engine, tranny, interior and trim, gauges, suspension, etc. Prices for amateurs/enthusiasts will be low. Make me an offer. (If you can tell me a good story about how you’re a poor, starving college student, or such, you might get it for free. But the story better be good.) For Sale1974 Jensen-Healey Roadster, “Triumph Blue” with Ford 302 cu V-8, VIN 16182. I purchased this ’74 Roadster from the original Florida owner in 1983 and the car has been owned by me ever since. The original engine was professionally replaced with a reliable, torquey, Ford 302 V8. The engine fits nicely in the Healey engine compartment and mates to a Ford C-4 (6-band) automatic whose shifter fits perfectly in the original tranny column. Twenty percent stiffer springs were installed and SPAX adjustable gas shocks installed all around. (I also have, still new in the box, stabIlizer bars from Delta Motorsports). The body was professionally sanded down and repainted in 1984. All rust prone areas were replaced (doglegs, rocker panels, floorboards) at the time. The car’s never seen a drop of rain since! The interior has new carpet (with padding). The convertible top and boot are aftermarket replacements from Delta Motorsports, but the original tonneau cover is in the boot. Wanted Front bumper and/or hood (bonnet) for 1973 Jensen Healey mk1. If not the whole bumper, I'd at least be interested in the polished chrome/steel piece that covers the top of the bumper. Dellorto Carbs, all new suspension, including anti-sway bars, uprated springs, the works, and new brakes (new master cylinder and stainless lines). For Sale $1,500 1974 1/2 Jensen Healey vin 19154. 5 speed transmission with 61065 miles. The car is in very good shape mechanically with the exception of the Strombergh carbs which need to be rebuilt or replaced. After having much work done 4 years ago the mechanic stated that the carbs were the last major thing to be done. Also gas tank (Delta replacement many years ago) should be cleaned and lined. Put new tires on in 06. After driving her for a short while the carbs started leaking so she has been sitting once again since then. The restoration work is what really needs to be done. The body is in good shape but reeds paint, new soft top, repair original factory hardtop, rubber bumpers need refinishing, repair rusted drivers side floor plan, could use windshield due to stress crack lower passenger side. The interior carpet was replaced years ago but is in excellent condition. Original seats are in very good condition as they have always been covered since I bought the car in 1978. The wood dash needs refinishing. Trunk has been redone and has newer carpet in excellent shape. For Sale 1974 Jensen-Healey, Mark II #19938, 98K original miles on Lotus 907. 5 spd. Getrag transmission; newly rebuilt clutch; new brakes all round (pads, lines, master cylinder); new alternator; new battery; new tires; new K&N air filters on the Stromberg carbs. Excellent running condition. Mostly new (black) interior, but the original dash has some cracks. Everything works except the clock and radio (hooked-up, but the volume is too low). Original orange paint, no dents, dings or rust (was a California car until I bought it and had it shipped to NY). The frame for the soft-top is still attached to the car, without the cloth. I had a custom hard-top put on the car (removes easily), as I thought it would be more practical in NY.
