SOLD Offered for sale is this beautiful 1974 Jensen Healey with Lotus 907 twin cam, dual Dell Orto carburetors, soft top and hardtop with roll bar. The odometer reads 13,401. I do not know a lot about this car as it belonged to my brother Mike, who passed away a few months ago. Mike purchased the car in August of 2001 and always kept it garaged. Mike's profession was as a Service Manager for the last 25 years or more. His hobby was racing and he raced a Triumph Spitfire called the "Abomination" because it had a Mazda rotary powered motor. Mike then started racing a Jensen Healey and was well known in the Grassroots Motorsports community as "Curmudgeon". He was a prolific blogger and extremely knowledgeable about cars and motorcycles. I mention this to give you some insight into the owner of the car and how well it had to be maintained. Just 2 weeks ago, I drove it from Murrells Inlet, SC to Wilmington, NC as part of caravan in our club, The Grand Strand British Car Club. It never skipped a beat and was a lot of fun to drive. Because I am the executor of his estate, it is best that I sell the car in an arm's length transaction or I would keep it for myself. (2/15/2016).
