We need a head count for our event this Saturday, September 15 , 2007- for the JHPS End of Summer Party at Bob & Theresa Hillhouse's digs in Fullerton, California. Starts about 3pm. Bring a side dish to share and something to throw on the grill (or befall Bob's Mystery Burger, last years mystery meat was proported to be a combination of buffalo and kangaroo!). The summer parties are always great fun and worth the drive from anywhere in Southern California. The club summer party had a great turnout! It was almost a mini-Jensen meet. Nine Jensen Healeys and a group of about 22 made the event. Lots of cool cars to look at. It was surprising to see that all of them were in excellent condition. A good time was had by all. Loads of food, drink, friends and Jensen Healeys on a warm sunny day, what could be better? Many thanks to Bob & Theresa Hillhouse for going all out and hosting a great party. Here are a few photos- Let the judging begin. People voted for such things as Best Paint, Best Sound System, Best Top, Best Engine Compartment, Best Sounding Engine, Best Car and Best Beater. As no beaters showed up, that category was left unclaimed. Winners received treats made in the UK, that Bob and Theresa Hillhouse gathered together.    Susan and Al Philips drove their very original 1973 Jensen Healey. Als is the original owner! Sheesh, you don't even look old enough for that.  |
