My ignition switch has failed so I need to come up with a fix. Does anyone know if the MGB switch  & lock assembly part #319-120 from http://www.thebhive.com work?

I don't think this would work.  The MG part might perhaps fit mechanically, but it seems to lack the steering lock mechanism and release button.  Also, you'd have to replace its electrical connector with one compatible with the JH wiring.  Finally, there is no connector for the wire to the key-in-ignition warning connector.

On a side note, you might want to remove what looks to be your home address from the 'homepage' line in your profile.
