Hello all

I just picked up some Dell's for my little toy and while I dont have them in front of me right now, I've been noticing on all the other cars that have Dell's the gas feed to the carbs comes into the front carb and feeds thru it to the back one, while some applications look neat and clean I was thinking that feeding into the back carb and going forward to the front would be an even cleaner application,  does anyone know if this is doable or is there something that makes this idea a big no no.

Thanks

Cheers

Brett.

Hello Brett,

You can run the fuel lines anyway you want as long as each carb is getting 2.5 psi of fuel pressure.  I personally did not like the look of the overhead fuel line and ran mine via a "T" from below with an individual short line to each carb.  I posted a pic in the JHP Photo Gallery in the hope it might help you visualize my description.

Good luck with the Dellorto's.  I think you will really enjoy them.

Jim

Hey Brett,

I, too installed mine through the middle. The same set-up as the Stroms. The only thing extra I had to do was cap the front of the front banjo. Using a rubber cap with a small hose clamp. Looks neat & clean.
