Back in 75 I almost bought one. Now I'm being hit with the bug again.

The one I'm looking at needs engine work. I'm being told just the top end (60,000) miles on the car) but who really knows as it's been sitting for a long time. I don't have a lot of experience pulling engines, so my question is will I be able to find a mechanic in the Sacramento area? Or could I just pull the engine and then drive it down to someone in So Cal. Should I be afriad of getting into this car. It would be my first JH. I've owned 5 TR6s and currently have one.

Advice??? thanks,

Larry

Is that the one on ebay?  I'm scared of the engine pictures but the price is good for a solid body in nice shape.

If it were near me I'd buy it.

good luck

Steve
