I'm assembling 12947 and have this support bracket in my refurbished parts pile that I cannot find in my reference photos or after hours searching through parts diagrams on line. This is not one of the 3 steering column supports - those are already in place. This is stouter than those and the holes are ~12mm (1/2"). Just went through the parts diagram book, and doesn't jibe with anything in there. You have another car you've been working on?

Thanks for the effort. My other cars are done. The only thing I can think of is that it may have been in the box of parts I got with the car, since it was partially disassembled by the PO. I'm satisfied that it hasn't got a place on the car so I'll just leave it. Back to putting actual JH parts on the car.
