Finally on the road and temp gauge does not work. some exploration found the green with blue stripe wire chewed to bits up under the carbs. (don't know how I missed this until now) But I cannot find the temp sending unit location on the block. Help !!!!!!!!! Probably stick out like a sore thumb once somebody points it out. Thanks

PS and to make it worse I have a spare block in the shop and still cannot find the fool thing

UPDATE Found it with help from Facebook group and yes it does stick out like a sore thumb on the back of the intake manifold once you know where to look.

Ralph,

See the temp sender, item 14 in the attached JPEG. It appears twice, once on each manifold, between the two carbs in each case.
