So back in 2015 I purchased my Healey.
It has been a trip reading this forum determining if the thing was safe to drive. The PO did a respectable job in doing safety mods. But as I move to the fuel lines I have to wonder whats going on.
There are two fuel filters, one on either side of the fuel pump, in the boot. In addition there is a fuel filter on the fender in combination with a regulator.
There is a carbon canister with nothing coming in and a metal line, I guess vapor return, going back.
I want to clean all this up by removing the fuel filters in the back, removing the carbon canister and getting a vent from the tank to the outside much as my TR4 has.
Any thoughts.

I failed to include that the PO switched to Dellorto carbs, hence the regulator and filter up front.

Answered my own question by reading more forum postings.
Thanks CDA951 for posting about the one way valve.
I will place it just before the regulator and install new line back to the fuel pump./
