I cannot seem to locate the K&N part # for my Carbs....Everything that I find does not have enough holes in the mounting plates for the vents!

try this site, in my opinion they are a much nicer and robust filter assembly than a K&N.

The K&N have a knock-out hole(about 1/2' diameter) in the backing plate. you can make up a vent with some plastic or brass hardware for the breather tubes.
The ones Brett described look like they're for other carbs, not the Strombergs?? Don't really know if CB Performance has anything for Strombergs??

Do you know if this item actually fits a JH set of Strombergs..or if it will fit a JH setup with Webers..I just came across a JH with Webers and was considering putting them on Marks JH, but have no air filters and wondered if they will fit..
Regards
Frank

Frank, yes these air filters are for both the Dell's and Weber's, you need to know the length of the velocity stacks on your carb's and then get the appropriate assembly. My Dell's are using the 3-14" so I am actually using these.

I cut the bolt bracket off the end cleaner, but kept it for the back one. so if need be I could put a return spring on the linkage. I really like them because the "Rib's" on them mimic the JH valve covers.

Frank, It depends on what length velocity stack's you have on the carbs. If you visit the web site they list the 1-1/2" for shorter stacks, 2-1/2" for taller, 3-1/4" all the way up to a 6". this link now is the web page. and just the first page #1 of 5 pages.

The air cleaner that I am using is the 3377.

Brett: Long ago there were air filter posts for carbs. Was there a supplier (not KN) for Stromberg carb filters?
