1110/11928 Engine number B73.02.1943 Body Colour Yellow Completed April 2, 1973 destined for the USA.

From Richard Calver's book of information.

Your is an early JH

Engine number stamped somewhere at the back side, and I understand visible if you look way over the top towards the very back of the engine.

Thanks, I found it. I have added it to the vin/data thread.

Build date is Fed, 1973 according to the data plate on the door.

You may have the build date may be wrong... The "Book" lists it as 2-4-73 and the Brits use the day of the month first, then the month second and then lastly, the year...whereas here in the USA we would list the month first and thdn the day etc...so as it reads 2-4-73 it "translates" to the second day of April, 1973
