Does anybody know whether or not the stock 5 speed will tolerate being flat towed? I'm considering hitting the road in a motorhome for a while and would rather flat tow (4 down) than pull a dolly or a trailer.

Thanks for any advice
Bob

I have towed a couple of JH's due to breakdowns with no issue's, and dollied one from another State with the rears down, again no issue's. Keep in mind the speedo will be turning adding miles........

Hi all, Just testing the waters... I have (2) running series II motors, (1) 4 spd. trans/ rear end, (1) 5 spd./rear, (1) 8' Ford rear end,(converted to direct bolt-in replacement, std wheel pattern,(WILL require back of drive shaft mod). All (4)fenders, CUT off the car, so about 20-30% missing around attachment areas, F/R early and late bumpers, (2) good tan seats. Forum please throw me some offers, so I can decide if worth advertising here ? Thank You, roverman.

Hey Roverman, I also live in Riverside. Would love to see your JH. I am just finishing my restoration of 13046 and would love to get some pointers from God regarding completing my car. Please call me at 909-938-2090. I'm in Chigago for the next 3 days returning to So CA via Milwaukee. Would love to see your JH Rover powered?

Bob Wall's been looking for a 5 speed rear end. I just sent him a FB message, maybe you two can work something out.

I have (2) JH's. Neither one much to look at. 5 speed car is still together, drivable soon ? It is to become "Jensen Jackal", what might have been factory built, if oil embargo hadn't happened. Cheers, Art G.
