Just wondering what the general consensus is on the best jetting/choke size for DHLA40E, stock Euro cams, 2.0.
There is a wealth of info on different specs for the DHLA45's, but not so much for the smaller carbs. My DHLA's have got 4 progression holes and are stamped DHLA40E.
I've currently got 35mm chokes, 130 (7772.5) main, 55 (7850.7) idle.
Looking for that elusive best compromise of good acceleration across the RPM range. Don't expect to see the red line very often...
Thanks-
Jim

After looking at some specs Brett kindly emailed, upped my mains from 130 to 145 and main air corrector to 190.
Left my slow running at 55, with 7850.7 holders.
Put in some 33mm chokes while I was at it.
Feels like a totally different car. No hesitation, no hole, lots of pull all the way up. Really nice, driveable car now. I think those 130 mains were just too small
Thanks again
Jim
