Interesting build on http://www.speedhunters.com.  66' MGB GT is being built for street legal FIA/GT3 class. The goal is for a lap record, in this class. Power is RV8 block, retrofitted with  907 heads and twin turbos. Goal is 1,300 hp. Too bad they didn't choose a Jensen GT ?  Wait, they can unbolt the windshield !! Enjoy, roverman.

Ha Ha! I guess money is not a limiting factor! I'd need to win two lottos to afford this.

Well, evidently not funded enough, to spring for a "new" Cosworth/Coscast block ? At 1,300 hp., a used 4L RV8, might not be the most durable choice. roverman.

I thought the use of 907 heads was suspect also. Wouldn't you go with a later version, at least to eliminate the cam cover leak?

Still, an amazing project!

Later Lotus heads flow a lot better than the 907 heads. In particular the later Zeus heads from the S4s have much bigger ports.
