Hi folks,

Recently bought my first ever Jensen Healey and I love it!

Rock solid from the sills down but rough on top with rust in all the usual places!

Some nice touches like a stainless fuel tank, uncut door cards and original early wheels.

the engine is a beaut....a 2.2 running on twin 45's and it sounds and goes great.

I did't pay a great deal for it and I don't have a great deal of time or money to invest in this at the moment so shall just enjoy using it and repair and maintain where necessary.

Anyway, here's a piccie.......and they DO lie!

Welcome! The previous owner spent a load of cash on that motor. The anodized cam pulleys and Lotus covers are from a later Lotus Esprit.

I notice you have right hand drive, where are you located?

Thanks Kurt. I'm in the UK.....in fact I live probably a 30 minute drive from where these were built.

Hi Nice buy

Maybe I should have bought one like yours as I've had mine 3 years as a project and still a very long way from getting on the road.

Nice to see a new UK member, welcome

Wow, that's an early one! I've got 10313... it's a bit more than 30 minutes from West Brom these days. That's a Geordie Reg isn't it?

According to Mr Google, 'JD' is West Ham (London)

*cough* Correct. You have passed the test and spotted my deliberate error....;-)

In which case, Mr Google says Middlesborough.....so almost Geordie...

Closer to being a monkey hanger than a Geordie
