Hi gang, Chassis 11836 1974 MK II - Engine 9747. PO could not get her to start so I bought her cheap and began self inflicted the torture. I have been checking out all the pics and info I can find regarding timing setup. My question is about the gear on the intake right now. I've never seen a solid cam gear. Are there any markings on it? Kurt |

I have seen solid gears. The one in your pic looks fine. I would go back to basics and line everything up at TDC, confirm fuel delivery, spark and timing. |
