I have a 1975 JH-5 with the 5mph rubber bumpers. I would really like to have a pair of chrome topped units. Are the bumpers interchangeable. Could I put a pair on the car that were from an older Jensen.

Yes and no. They are not a direct replacement or swap. You will need the earlier mounting brackets also. Good luck finding a good pair.

It's been a while but from what I remember the rear brackets have a different mounting plate for the rubber bumpers. The fronts have a different mounting plate also. I would have to check in the "parts" shed out back during the daylight to be positive.

It's doable if you have all the parts as others, and myself, have done.

Art is correct. You need the bumpers + the mounts.

The other thing I've seen done with the rear rubber bumper is to shorten the bracket to bring the bumper up close to the rear valence. IT actually looks a lot better that way.
