Hello

Changed over to pertronix a couple of years ago but was getting oil in the dist. cap. A little fussing seemed to cure issue. I did notice not being able to get over 50 mph on the freeway but as most driving was about town I let it slide. Just during recommissioning noticed oil again getting in ( maybe all the time and fouling??) If not the o-ring...any suggestions please.

It still sounds like the O-ring. Unless the shaft or metal around it is nicked or something and letting the oil pass. When did you last replace the O-ring and did you replace it with the proper type?

Hi Art

I agree...I will check the shaft to see about nicks/scrapes. I will also order up another o ring

Thank you

Phil
