I removed the dash to repair some instrument wiring. when removing the oil pressure gauge I broke the black cylindrical tube that the bulb fits into that shines through the green lense above the gauge. I'm hoping I'm not the first person that has done this. Any advise on replacement?

i found replacements at a VW performance site. forgot how i discovered it - just wanted to replace the chrome rings on my indicator lights. anyway, the 1/2 inch lights come in various colors, they're cheap and they fit fine. here's the link to the site: http://www.chircoestore.com/catalog/index.php?cPath=553_554 good luck, Brian 19711
