Hi Paul, I measured the 5 speed pivot from the inside of the bellhousing to the top of the ball on the pivot at 2.050". Perhaps a machinist could modify your 4 speed pivot to fit if needed. Kurt |

Sorry it took so long Paul. Are the rest of the parts the same for either trans? Release lever, throwout bearing etc? Kurt |

The release lever appears to be the same; the throwout bearing is different. I have not seen it yet - it is on order and you have to make a choice of either 4 or 5 speed speedo cable, so I guess that is different. Bell housing is unique to the Getrag unit, but the clutch, pressure plate and pilot bearing can be used in either set-up. Also, as has been mention in earlier discourses, the tranny mount is different and in another location. PK |
