Anyone have a breakdown of the dealer installed A/C system? I have the interior control knobs and the engine brackets and lower pulley.

What I don't have is the compressor or lines and I'm not sure of what else was used on the interior of the car.

I don't know if this was an engine swap from an original A/C car or if its original.

If I can't get the original parts to complete the install I may just sell the other bits on Ebay.

I think most dealers fabbed brackets and such to fit or just subbed it off to AC shops. Have'nt seen any prints of an AC system for a JH. There are probably prints for the GT system but unless you install a GT dash that wont work for a JH.

There was a "factory" A/C but it was dealer installed. I have a bunch of one that I got from Dale a while back. I know that Jim @ Delta has the specs on the A/C, but I've not seen it. I'm due to pay him a visit so I'll ask next time I'm there.

I believe Bruce Madden's car was delivered with dealer installed AC.  He removed it decades ago but still has "every part".  He'll never sell any of it but if you ask nice he might take photos for you.

One of my 2 GT's has working AC.  I can take pics if you  think they'll help.

The bracket shown in your picture does not look at all like the stock GT bracket.

Lastly, one of my JH parts cars has a few AC parts on it.  They all look to be fabricated.  I can offer pics of them too and would be willing to sell them.

Keep in mind that the JH front cross member and the GT one are different (Art and I discovered this when disassembling his GT).

Someone was kind enough to send me a parts list for the a/c system a while ago when I posted a similar question. Not sure if it will be of use, but it looks complete.

The file is over 100k so I'll email it to you.

Done - have emailed to you.

I'm not sure how useful it might be though!

Chris, if you still have the a/c documents, would you please e-mail a copy to me? These Florida summers get mighty hot... Thanks!

Hi,
my AC seems to be out of refridgerant as it just blowing chilled air and not propperly cold air. Is this document still existant and is there any information given on how much refrigerant I need for my GTs AC? I would appreciate any information very much.

Georg
