After driving for about 1/2 hour engine stalls and cant drive very fast. Back fires too what should i check

sounds like you need get the timing set, go thru the ignition and making sure what you have is good and in working order, plugs, points, wire's, cap rotor, good grounds etc etc. then if you still are having trouble check the condition of the carbs maybe it's time for a rebuild. Brett

If this repeats itself after a cooling off. ie runs ok for 1/2 hour then stalls etc. I would check the fuel pump and fuel filter.

you happen to know where the tube coming from the back carb i think its from the manifold the tubeis hanging and cant seem to find a place to hook it up to. Also on my distrubtor there is a rubber 90degree rubber and nothing attached to it. thanks for your help
