Just installed the engine in the car with JetHot coated JHPS headers and have a clearance problem with the steering shaft  It hits the headers when the wheel is turned.  Any insights?

You probably have the steering knuckle in the wrong way. The orientation of the knuckle is important. One way it clears the other it doesn't!

You may need to add a few spacer to the driver's side engine mount.

Also consider spacing the gearbox x-member to body. This will drop the rear of the engine.

Thanks for all the suggestions.  I made a 1/4" aluminum shim for the drivers side mount and it looks like that did the trick.  Since I still have to replumb and rewire the engine compartment it will still be a couple of months before I can start it up.
