I am just curious. How many RUNNING or NEAR RUNNING Jensen GT's are out there in the United States.?? My guess is there is about 25 or so. Not counting ones which would Like to Run, can't run, Need restoration, or are parts for other GT's Anybody's best guess would probably be more accurate than mine. Seems like one of the rarest and most undervalued car out there. JOHN |

I know of three (running) here in the San Francisco area. "New to me" Jensens show up every few weeks on Craigslist Bay Area. There may be 25 running GT's in the Bay area alone. |

No, both had been removed prior to my purchase. |

Does the water pump run with the belt for the alternator? If so, what belt groove on the crank pulley is used? I assume your GT has a 3 groove crank pulley like mine. If I want to line up the waater pump sheave with the alternator sheave on my GT it appears I need to add a spacer between the water pump sheave and the water pump hub. About 11/16 thick. My alternator runs off the center groove on the crank pulley. |
