I got some help with balancing my dellorto 45s and the first thing we found was that a number of the adjustment screw slots were stripped so that they could not be turned.
I am considering sending the carbs to someone for a total rebuild. Does anyone have experience with this? I could probably get some help locally. I could probably find a local shop to do it. I have wondered if I should ship them to someone who specializes in dellortos and would know the nuances of this engine.
I have never done such work myself. Any advice? All comments would be appreciated.
