just removed my Strombergs and fitted Dellortos and found I had to remove the 2 bottom studs to fit the manifold as they were in the way of the water pipes on the manifold, is this normal practice?

Thanks Ron, it did worry me a tad about possible coolant leak due to less tension on manifold. But all is well now
