I've heard that if you install a Petronix ignition and coil you should open the plug gap up to 0.035". Which, if I remember correctly, is 0.010 over stock! Is this correct?

Yes, that's a smart idea. The usefulness of increasing the gap will vary depending on what type of coil you are running, if using a Blaster Coil, I'd say it's essential. If using the stock or a Lucas Super Sport coil, a smaller increase in the gap may still help.
