About a year ago, I was unfortunate enough to have my oil pump shaft sieze. I was very lucky to not suffer any valve damage. I took the pump to a local machine shop and had the housing bored and oil-lite bushings installed. I am happy to report that after 3000 plus miles and many trips to red line ther have been no problems.
