Drove the 567 miles from the northern suburbs of Chicago to Kansas City yesterday in my JH and averaged better than 70 mph (including gas, food and bathroom breaks) on a combination of interstate and 2 lanes. No, I wasn't following Joe Mazurk, but he was my inspiration for the pace. Not bad for a 31 year old car sporting antique plates! Scott

Sounds like it was a fun drive. Did you bother to determine your fuel mileage? I know it's not one of the things JH owners usually pay much attention to, but it would be interesting to have some good hard figures on the topic.
