 Yes, that spring steel thing that snaps into place as the the lock is pushed into the hole in the boot lid. Mine's been broken since I bought the car. The P.O. cleverly used a length of rubber hose to keep the lock from rattling but it keeps popping up a bit.

Anyone have a spare?
