In theory these units from should give most of the advantages of a crankfire system while not looking out of place. A vacuum advance (with gearshift retard) unit should be a fine replacement for the stock distributor.

Has anyone tried these units? Not cheap, but still cheaper than a Megasquirt, which would be one of the cheapest options for crankfire ignition, right?
