I recently purchased #14592 (1974) and needed to replace the front cover crankshaft oil seal. The engine had been replaced with what I was told was a 1975 engine and is missing some parts.The crank pulley is 2 3/4" face to face and has 2 V-belt notches in it.Can anybody tell me what the second/outside notch is for? How can I tell what year engine I have?
