The short answer is NO you probably haven't screwed anything up, aside from too much gas washing the oil off the rings and some really fouled plugs. All it's going to take is for you to get it running well and up to temperature. Go ahead and change the oil if you haven't lately. Now...see how much fun something SIMPLE like changing out a distributor can be!
