     Ok, has anyone done anything to replace that damn black rubber goop that surrounds the dash panel on the driver's side?  I'm considering tearing it all out and putting in a new dash piece with real hardwood. 

And while I'm at it - the damn headlight and hazard switches that keep pushing out might need to be replaced with really nice lighted toggle switches.  And the clock can be replaced with a 'modern' one that works!

I can't see replacing the rubber moulding that keeps falling down and hitting my knee with more of the same.  I haven't priced it yet at Delta but I'm betting it's not cheap. 

Has anyone done anything nice (and possibly have a good pattern so I don't have to make one!!) that they would like to share?
