Ever since I bought my car the speedometer has not worked correctly, i.e., bounced around and was about 20 mph over the speed that I was going. Well it finally stopped working about a week ago and I had a new cable installed. The speed is now steady but still off by about 20 mph. I remember that the oversize 205 tires may have something to do with it but someone else mentioned it may be a gear on the tranny or maybe something else in the speedometer. Any help in resolving this is greatly appreciated. 73 JH Steve
