 I have acquired a new noise that has me worried. When pulling away from a stop there is a tinkeling sound like a fan hitting radiator fins. It goes away at higher RPMs. If I lurch the car with it in gear by rolling on and off the gas, it makes the noise the whole time. When the clutch is depressed there is no noise.

I recently made the trek to the Monterey Historics  which was about 250 miles round trip with no failures but the noise is getting a little worse.

Any Ideas?
