I'ts not to bad a job just get your car safely and securely up in the air, loosen the clamping bolt at the upper and lower ends, you may have to spread the clamp a little to get it to move and just slide it up or down to feed it off the shafts, while your under there check for play in the bushing at the end of the steering column, it's a piece of plastic rubber crap that wears out in no time so you probably might need to change that at the same time, ( I fabbed one out of bronze so I wouldnt  have to do it again ), If you dont have enough room to slip the shaft off you may need to unbolt the steering rack to get a bit more room.
