I'm getting prepared for towing my late brother's 1973 J-H with a 4 speed from southern Wisconsin to Minnesota. We have a tow dolly. It hasn't been driven much, less than a couple of hundred miles, in the last 2 years so I don't want to chance problems on the road until I understand its reliability. Anyway, is it OK for the car to be towed with the drive shaft insitu? I know from experience, the TR7 5 speed could not be towed, due to the oil pump of that transmission. The 4 speed came from Sunbeam. Should I remove the drive shaft, or is that not neccessary. Paul.
