A piece of angle iron(1/8" thickness or more) spread between the 2 rails with a ratcheting strap(make it 400+ lbs for strength) going under the oil pan and around the angle iron should be fine. A strong piece of white oak should also work well. The entire engine with the ancillaries is less than 300 lbs, so just use some common sense. The one I made back in the late '70s, I used a chain through some larger water hose (instead of a ratcheting strap) going under the oil pan with a couple of bolts drilled through the angle iron. best wishes, bruce
