On the later model cars like mine, Vin #18736 the ignition sprocket is just another cam pulley in that position. It has no mark to indicate that the rotor is pointing to the #1 distributor post. I would pop the cap off and verify the rotor position and make your own mark. It would also be a good time to check the firing order. Many of our 50 year old cars have an aftermarket pulley by now or maybe the distributor has been reoriented. Trust your own mark.
The workshop manual has a diagram that shows the keyways of the different pulleys with the engine at #1 TDC. That could be helpful too.
There are some very helpful posts on this message board regarding belt changes that I still rely on. The first one I did felt like defusing a bomb. Bear in mind the 907 is an interference engine. Best of luck to you.
