My apologies if that's how you took my response, it was meant to be neither smart ass nor dumbass. I wouldn't spend several hours trying to help someone work through a problem if I was just being a smart ass. The point I was trying to make (apparently badly) was that by focusing on the seller it was taking your eye off the ball which is solving the problem at hand, the floorboards.
The reason I spend the time I do on this message board is to provide what assistance I can to help others to keep their Jensen-Healeys on the road, not to make dumbass comments.
