 Paul,

I'll second Vance, Robey has what you need. You're right MGB filters won't fit the stock J/H air filter is a rather odd ball setup, the element has to be stretched to fit, people think it looks like a muffler.

I'm just curious, you're caretaker of somebody else's car (your late brother, sorry about that) in another state how did you conclude that it needs a new air filter element?
