I find it interesting where Jensen got all the parts from to build the Jensen Healey. Downunder in New Zealand and Australia, General Motors started to produce a car named Torana in late 1960's. The first model was a 2 door HB viva with a 1200 cc engine sourced from Europe. The front suspension is the same as in our Jensen Healeys ( As far as I can see with engine etc still in car ). The Torana soon grew to have a various 6 cylinder engines 2850cc and 3300 cc being common. The car grew as well but the method of attaching the front syspension looks as if it stayed the same. Attached a photo of the Torana front cross member, no doubt it had heavy duty brakes as well ( and LSD ).
