 Having hauled around my J-H many times in the past, a chain up and over the front of the diff. worked fine. The brakes lines were way out the the way and the chain was wrapped over the rear of the trailer. Do this before tightening down on the front winch so you can easily find where to adjust whatever clamping piece for the rear chain.
