The fork pivot is different between the two if you go with part numbers, I don’t have access to the shifting forks right now and won’t for a few weeks but I’m almost positive that there is a difference with the forks as well, I believe the 5 speed is shorter
Not trying to cause a problem here but I think it needs a bit more input.
The forks are identical according to the parts catalog part numbers and illustrations.
However, you are correct that the fulcrum pins are different (once again, according to the parts catalog). The pin part numbers are different, and the fulcrum pin for the 5 speed is shorter that the 4 speed's in the relevant diagrams.
