The bumpers are the same for all Jensen-Healeys, that is to say Jensen didn't build a European and US version of the bumpers like, for example, the TR7 which had different US and European spec bumpers. The J-H did have early(metal)and late(rubber)bumpers. If you're talking about fabricating a set of new lightweight custom bumpers some guys have done that, you can save close to 100 lbs. If you're thinking of swapping from rubber to metal that might be challenging as the mountings were very different. Also finding a clean used set of metal bumpers might be difficult.
