The other day I was out running errands in the Jensen. In the parking lot at Target I was approached by a guy who complimented my Jensen and was curious as to the meaning of my license plate "NOOMG". I told him it was to avoid a common occurrence, people mistaking it for an MG. He had never heard of MG! While he seemed knowledgeable about the Jensen-Healey he had no clue about MGs.

What struck me odd is he knew of a short lived, low production, fairly obscure car (Jensen-Healey)but had never heard of a car that had been in production in one from or another for 40 years. I can remember in SoCal back in the '60s and '70s it seemed the only thing more numerous on the road than MGBs was the ubiquitous VW Bug.
